What am I doing?

Hey, I'm Pascal. I'm glad you want to know something about me. Computers fascinating me since I was a small kid. I published my first website made with Microsoft Frontpage 2000 in the computer class when I was 12 years old.
At the age of 16, I started my education as a Developer. This decision made my biggest hobby to my job so I can spend way more time to learn new technics and also make money with it.

While I'm developing websites and portals using various PHP frameworks, content management systems, and libraries in my job, I got more and more interested in home automation and sensors in general. Together with some friends, I started developing some nice sketches for Arduinos and Raspberry Pis using C++ and Python.

TYPO3 Experience

Working with TYPO3 is my all day life. Most time I´m writing extensions for TYPO3 and acting as backend developer. In some special cases like this website I´m doing frontend stuff too. I love the philosophy of well thought-out structures to achieve the best user experience and I´m of the opinion that a website can always be optimized. That´s why the design and structure of my website will be updated as often as I find some points to improve - if time permits. I´m TYPO3 developer since 2014 and started with TYPO3 6.2.

Do you have hobbies?

Yes, I do. While doing dev stuff is one of my biggest hobbies, it is also one of the unhealthiest. Playing Badminton in summer helps to walk a bit. Going to the gym keeps me strong or at least allows me to eat much ;).

My most delicious hobby is cooking. I love trying out crazy recipes from all over the world.

Meet my friends is mandatory for me. It may be a bit nerdy sometimes but playing games offline next to each other is pleasant. Sometimes Rummikub, sometimes UNO, and sometimes Magic the Gathering until somebody cries.
